Earthed Summit

In July 2025, right after speaking at Love Tomorrow, Thomas Crowther told me I had to meet Christabel Rose, who he described as running one of the most ambitious nature restoration summits around. He was right. I was honored when Christabel invited me to speak at Earthed, and the gathering delivered — a room full of people working on nature restoration, at a moment when that work can otherwise feel isolating. Highlights included Elise Van Middelem on the Sugi Project's pocket-forest movement, no-dig gardening pioneer Charles Dowding, bee expert and Silent Earth author Dave Goulson, musicians Eileen Hall and Jon Hopkins, Radici Farm founder Simon Burgess, and host Alice Aedy — alongside Thomas Crowther himself. It was a reminder that the work of reconnecting cities and people to nature is part of a much larger, growing movement.
