In July 2025, I joined Love Tomorrow, the summit held at Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, alongside speakers including Steven Bartlett and Thomas W. Crowther. My talk, "The Wild Is Calling," explored a question I've been chasing for years: in a world of urban sprawl, vanishing green space, and digital overload, could the very technology pulling us away from nature also be the key to restoring our bond with it? I shared stories from "talking trees" that demand protection, to pocket parks buzzing with biodiversity, to global citizen-science campaigns where thousands of people use their phones to track urban species — all examples of how we can rewild our cities with the tools already in our hands. It wasn't a talk about answers so much as a call to listen more closely, think more critically, and see nature not as something "out there," but as something we can build back into our lives, right where we live.
